BREAST CANCER ENCOURAGEMENT CARDS

Do you know someone fighting a battle with breast cancer?  These 3 little cards were made with her in mind.  Send a note of encouragement to let her know you are alongside her, sending her courage to fight the battle.  The inside says:

YOU ARE A WARRIOR.
YOU ARE A FIGHTER.
AND SOON YOU WILL
BE A SURVIVOR.

Bookcase cards

These cards were commissioned by a friend who wanted "Thank You" note cards to send to members of her book club.  These are 4 variations on the same "Bookcase" stamp from Hero Arts.  It always fascinates me how you can use the same basis or paper for a card, use it in different ways and get very different looks.

Happy Hogmanay Day

This cart was made at the request of a customer who wanted to pay tribute to her Scottish roots by saluting Hogmanay Day.  Isn't the little kilt cute?

Wedding card for 2 police officers

Card front

The card is a tri-fold.  This is the left-side panel.

This is the center panel.

This is the right-side panel.

This card was made at the request of a friend for a wedding they were going to.  The wedding was for two police officers getting married.  I love the bridal veil on her hat.

Retirement card for a Nurse

This is a card I made at the request of a friend to give his wife, who was retiring after 40+ years as a nurse.  He loved the card so much that he had it framed for her as a present.

Greetings from Washington State

I was going through some photos and found this little cutie from a couple years ago.  (Today is "Throwback Thursday, right?)  I am so proud to be from Washington State and this card is so iconic of our beautiful "neck of the woods".  It's fun to customize this one for Christmas by putting Christmas lights on the ferry.

Typewriter card set

This little typewriter die has me over the moon. I can put any message on the typewriter paper.  They would be great tucked into your honey's lunch bag, mailed to your loved one or left on the kitchen counter for your sweetie pie to find in the morning. I can also change the background paper to just about any color. The inside is blank but I can insert any message or sentiment you want. Send me a message or drop a comment below if you want me to set one or more aside for you. If you're local, I'll drop it off to you. If you're out of town, the USPS will bring it to you. Spread some love!!!!

40th Birthday Card - Masculine

Here is a masculine card that I made for my husband's son's 40th birthday.  (Just for fun, I put a sympathy sentiment on the inside instead of a typical birthday greeting.)

Thank You note card set

This collection of cards was made at the request of one of my customers.  I thought I would play with one paper but still make each card different.  The soft pink color is so pretty.  If you look closely, there is a very fine gold filament behind the sentiment in the bottom picture.  Just a little something to add some pizzazz.

Lucky me to have you card

Lucky me to have you.

The red heart is made of glitter paper, although it does not show up very well in photos.  I can also make the heart from shiny red paper.  Like it?  Let me know.  I can make it and get it to you.

Masculine Valentine card

One of my friends requested that I make a Valentine card that he would give to his son.  This is what I came up with.  I think the inside of it said
"Loads of love"
This old truck die is one of my favorites.  I've used it for Autumn and filled the bed with pumpkins.  I've also used it for Christmas and put a tree in the bed.

Knitting themed Thank You cards

A friend of mine asked me to make 3 thank you notes that she could send to members of her knitting club. The beautiful water-color paper is by @alexandrarenke.  I love how soft and feminine these cards turned out.
